The front of the cloak features two ribbons to tie it securely. In rain and cold, the hood may be pulled on to keep the head warm and comfortable. The hood is long, in medieval liripipe style. The fabric is waterproof in light rain, and the fabric may optionally be treated to render it even more waterproof against the winter
